Which Local Green Spaces are to be included in our Neighbourhood Plan?
Between the 25th July and the 15th August Vision4Whaley we consulted with those in the area about the local green areas. After consultation the list has been completed. This will be put into our Neighbourhood Plan
WHAT AND WHERE ARE THE LOCAL GREEN SPACES
There are seventeen areas that are being put forward as Local Green Spaces in our Neighbourhood Plan. The list is below

Shallcross Wood, area to the east of the River Goyt
Furness Vale Bowling Green, Sports Facility and Playground

Shallcross Incline Greenway
Taxal Churchyard
Whaley Bridge Incline
Brookfield Pond and Nature Reserve
Wooded Area to north of Jodrell Rd play area
Land to north of Meadowfield

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
The Local Green Spaces will be put into our Neighbourhood Plan. The Plan is scheduled to be ready for everyone to view and comment on in March 2022
